"let's go go karting? done that", "Let's go Ape?, done that", "I know, let's stay over in a posh hotel, have a fab dinner with a free bar all night? Done that?!

Do you know what we haven't done to celebrate as a company? Volunteer our time, for free, to benefit a worthy cause, so let's do that. So we did!

Clare Martin from 'Pompey in the community' kindly gave us a challenge we couldn't refuse. PiTC are so close to opening the marvellous The John Jenkins Stadium on Moneyfields Ave that they need every man hour anyone can spare to get them over the line. 

We arrived at 08:30 with shovels, gloves, wet weather gear, because weather was dreadful, and a bucket of spirit and enthusiasm! 

 

We got stuck into painting, moving furniture from their current training site to John Jenkins, we cleared a whole area of brambles and weeds to clean up the site oh and we moved some guns and cannons from the dockyard to John Jenkins!

We finished wet, dirty but in great spirits. Clare and Dave were great and also got stuck in with us...it's amazing what you can achieve in a few short hours.
